The Blak Design program is an initiative from the Koori Heritage Trust that fosters First Peoples cultural innovation and provides a platform for nurturing sustainable, First Peoples design practices. Participants take part in a series of design and business workshops, learning from industry and cultural professionals.

We crafted a series of 9 artist profiles, featuring participants from the program and the work they created as part of it. We explore various art forms, traditions, and techniques.

Throughout our time with the artists, we interviewed and immersed ourselves in their lives, capturing their stories and experiences in engaging profiles. We wanted to create videos that not only presented the program experience but also served as a source of inspiration for aspiring Indigenous artists looking to take part.
