The Bonnet Series is a Collaborative Art Project initiated by Arrernte families at Snake Well (approx. 70kms north of Alice Springs) with visiting artists and supporters.

The project involved revitalising remote communities by transforming abandoned vehicles scattered across the landscape into sculptures that resonate with traditional narratives. This endeavour allowed participants to either forge deeper connections with their land or celebrate their cultural heritage. In this project a snake dreaming was constructed from 76 car bonnets.

Our role was to create a compelling 10 minute impact documentary and engaging social media content to showcase this initiative.
